A friend and I were chatting about 'Anger Management', and he said, "What I learned is to respond rather than react and that in each situation where anger surfaces, I stop and say to my self am I feeling; mad, hurt, afraid and this helps me act in way of response rather than explosive reaction.  He also said, "It is not really 'Anger Management' because we don't have a problem managing our anger- this is managed quite well but it is the work in the area of learning to communicate effectively in order to create the type of response  from others we most desire and act and speak in away this is reflective of our true intention."  Thank you Friend for Sharing!  Love

All I can say is WOW!

A friend said, "Look! we are all SO different."  

And I said, "Yes, Look! we are all  SO the same."  

And it is only because we are taught  to notice  difference, separate and  judge.  This way of thought   quickly becomes a habit and very infrequently do we even think to notice- the same.  It is easy to change thoughts that do not serve us- just change the thought and what we look at changes too!  

Practice noticing sameness 

and 

allow humility to bubble forth!

REAL EYE Z

I tied my shoes and  and began the run.  When I looked up and saw the hill I sighed and a flickering image of 'NO' came to mind, so I said, "hello 'NO' and goodbye to the 'NO' thought," and up the hill I trotted with energy, enthusiasm and vigor.  I thought all the way up how this is life, yep this hill is just like  all lives, so fun, so free so invigorating.  I felt grateful for the realization of gratitude for climbing hills and loving the feeling of an intense, heart beating spiritual experience in a physical body....

Let Go

While eating dinner in Old Town I heard a man act out in rage while the recipient sat in peace and continued to radiate love and kindness.  Way to be PEACE Z....

UnBELIEVABLE

A friend and I were talking about dis-ease, illness, suffering, pain, ache, anguish, infections, cancers of all sorts blah blah blah.... she went on and on about how we just fall prey to these parasites and tragedies and isn't it just horrible how a;ldr wkf bad jsad ;a lkdjq,death wm nef;horrible asdlkf if ja;sdlk and  fjpipoi  and she died kdkdkmn he died ybv lkj....... I said, "Not me, I just don't believe in any of that.  Today I do not give my attention or energy to that as it does not serve me today or ever and why in the world would I?   I put my energy into other thoughts... oh and you can too..."  She glared at me with a bitter stare, took a deep breath, muttered- UNBELIEVABLE- and pounced away with - what appeared disgust.   She and I will meet again!  This will be a serendipitous moment I will share...

Thank you friend for the reminder why I believe in nothing,

Vacation

A friend asked what I was doing for vacation, this summer and I was excited to answer because it was on the tip of my tongue.  And I said, "It is here where I stand and work Monday through Friday, this is my place of vacation.  It is here that I am at ease, balanced and happy.  It is here that I am relaxed and reminded to enjoy each moment.  It is here that I am surrounded by beauty and love.  It is here that I most choose to be.  It's these people that I love and adore and find the most pleasure with.  It is here on this tattered rug that I find vacation. This is my vacation.  Here and Now... Thank you Friend for reminding why I choose to vacation 5 days a week, 300 days a year!  Peace Love to YOU!!
