Grass

I walked in the rain, mud, hail, sunshine and grass.  I found puddles and puffy clouds.  I thanked the grass for growing under my boots and the trees for shade.  I thanked the birds for song and green for color.  I found gratitude in   Wolf Spiders and Rattlesnakes.  I am grateful for that which I am not and am, so complete,  yet quite incomplete.  

What a grand day for a cup of hot tea.  

Thank you friends, loveliness & air.

Today I sought balance.  

I found balance.  

After much downward spiraling.  

I am back up breathing, spinning, dancing and singing.  

Thank you people, tall and short for this marvelous journey of life.

I overheard someone talking and put together what they were saying in a way that made sense to me.  I fabricated, elaborated and assumed what the subject of their chatter was.  I chose to react to their words, made up the story further to myself and found I was almost panting and frantic with wanting to ramify and quell their words.  I sat, in anger, despair and grief.  It was brought to my attention I was staring and looked angry and I boasted  that certainly I was feeling this emotion.  I soon learned I assumed in a way that was not serving me and   that the people were actually speaking in a compassionate and loving manner.  SO.............. then I sat in guilt, sadness and sought forgiveness.  It took minutes to grip the complete forgiveness place.  Thank you friends who watched me freak, realize, cry, laugh and freak some more.  Thank you people who were talking for allowing me the opportunity to mind my own business.  Thank you self for this awesome, fun time...... Love Life

It felt odd then good.  

The resistance is what gave me the red flag 

to move forward rather than grip

She thanked me for the task.  

And I immediately found Peace And Relief.

Cerealia Day

Ceres the Greek Goddess of growing plants/grains and of Motherly nurturing relationships in Greek Mythology was worshiped during the ancient Roman times.  Her name is derived from the root (ker) which means to grow.  Other words associated with this root word (ker) are cereal, create and increase.  The legend is told that during a great famine Ceres was part of a group of other women who harvested mass crops of grain.  Also, the dwarf planet adopted in 1801- Ceres and the chemical element cerium found on Ceres  are both named after  Ceres the Greek Goddess.  Cerealia Day is a Roman festival held from April 12-19, Celebrating the abundance of Grain and the end of the Great Famine.

To Celebrate this today myself and three friends enjoyed a huge bowl of granola with bananas.  So fun to eat out of one bowl with pals of like hearts.  Finding Peace in a Grain of Love.

A friend visited today and while he was here we worked in the yard with a shovel and rake.  The wind and rain added to the tree planting adventure for the 2 hours we spent outside.  I noticed he listened  and communicated with nature with his whole being.  I watched and appreciated how his productivity and positiveness drew in  a peaceful experience.  He worked with calm and sure hands in a way that comes with age.  His old soul and knowingness are reassuring that going with the flow always produce blooming results.  

Tapped In!

I heard a story  6 years ago.  I had a feeling upon hearing the words that something just wasn't right and  that there was an element of untruth in the story but I dismissed it completely.  Those around me embraced the story and so did I.  Yesterday I learned that the story I  had heard was in part untrue and falsified knowingly.  I felt such a sense of relief and lightness just knowing that my intuition was right on.  I am learning to tap in, stay connected and aligned with my inner being.  Thank you Universe for the light and loving lessons of trust and selfishness.
